My most recent project was a kindle cover for my friend's birthday. I used this great pattern.
I then added 3 little applique owls. I made those up as I went along.
My stitching is a little wonky in places but it was an easy make, a good option for gifts and the likes.
Just before Christmas I found this pattern and thought it was too cute. It inspired me to make holiday penguins for my friends, as in penguins on their holidays. Also, stereotypes shmereotypes, I may well make one in a kilt and "see you jimmy" hat just to make a point. So without further ado, meet Claude and Clive:
That will have to do for now, though I shall have to update again with my science crochet amongst other things.
I will leave you with this post script: I have discovered the secret to making American style cookie dough and that is to bind with condensed milk rather than an egg. Bye bye waistline, I never really loved you anyway.
